 Mallorca continues to see a rise in visitor numbers as British guests appreciate the varied charms of the island and the unique holiday experiences it offers all year round.

Tucked away in in the old quarter of Palma, this charming 16th century manor house underwent restructuring last year and now offers 21 comfortable en-suite rooms with traditional Mallorquin furniture and family heirlooms, alongside modern touches such as satellite TV and air conditioning.  A rooftop terrace offers a space for guests to sit and relax and enjoy fine views of the Cathedral.   Double rooms B&B from €159.

NEW! Finca Dalt Murada opens 1 May 2014 just outside of Binissalem, 20 minutes from Palma.  This Agroturismo has been converted from a 500 year old farm estate offering 17 comfortable rooms opening onto a patio, pool and spacious gardens.  Furnished in the same traditional, style as Dalt Murada, this rural retreat is just 30 minutes from Palma and easily combined with a city visit.  Opening offers from €350 pp for 7 nights on B&B basis until 30 September.  See www.fincadaltmurada.com
