Champagne-Ardenne Launches on Facebook

Facebook ImageThe regional tourist board of Champagne-Ardenne is forging ahead with its digital media strategy with two brand new Facebook pages, one for the Champagne region and the other for the Ardennes.

The pages feature two ‘ambassadors’, Charlotte for Champagne and Adrien for the Ardennes, in a webseries of 16 episodes supported with their posts, giving visitors an insider’s view of the region with local knowledge.

Games and competitions are also planned on the Facebook page throughout the year.  See and .

New for smartphone this year is an application with 14 audio mini-guides offering visitors another view of the region, covering landscapes, culture, gastronomy, nature, all on the move. The application can be downloaded from Itunes at the following link:

Following the success of the launch of its new electronic magazine in October, The Spring edition of “ A Season in Champagne-Ardenne”, has recently been issued.  This free, interactive device for travellers on the road is available to download.   Focusing largely on the touristic gems of the region, this e-mag is presented as a ‘real’ publication with a dozen or so articles combined with videos, audio commentaries, photo streams and music covering:

  • Attractions & places of interest: the small village of Williers, contraband yesterday, comfort today
  • The local Chaource cheese:  a little-known AOC cheese
  • Rendez-vous with the General: discovering the Charles de Gaulle memorial
  • Charm, comfort and indulgence: 3 new chateau hotels
  • Reims, ‘Rêve de Couleurs’ (Dream of colours): a new season of this sound and light extravaganza the Cathedral façade – from 1 June till 23rd September.
